F Wilson Fashion Design was formed in 2008 by Brothers Fritz and Johan Botha and is a culmination of a shared vision to provide South African consumers with a home spun fashion label that has the clients’ total experience and unique needs at the very heart of each design. Fritz and Johan are cut from the same cloth…. perhaps just finished a little differently. For Johan it’s about classic design, perfect structure and respect to the pioneers of the global fashion community, for Fritz it’s all about putting a young, unexpected spin on the classics, adding that innovative edgy flair that’s destined to set a design apart, all the while giving a sophisticated nod to international and local cat walk trends.

Specializing in evening and bridal wear the first F Wilson studio was opened at 321 Braam Pretorious Street Pretoria in 2008 and has recently re-located to an exciting new home at 308 Zambesi Drive. With plans to open another showroom in Johannesburg,  there are no signs of this creative team slowing down. “Besides opening a second show room, we have also expanded our passion into menswear and jewellery design too… our goal is firmly set on establishing the F Wilson name and giving our clients an unforgettable experience from the minute their first consultation begins. We want our clients to know that we are there with them every step of the way. As example, we personally sketch all designs ( a keep sake for the photo album!) , draft every pattern according to the clients specific measurements and personal needs ,assist in buying and selecting the fabric , and even offer helpful and personalized shopping expeditions if required. Timing is also very important to us and each project is given a very practical and specific timeline including fitting dates and delivery deadlines, it all about attention to detail in every sense! ” concludes Fritz.
